The Black Child Legacy Campaign is the community-driven movement established by the Steering Committee on Reduction of African American Child Deaths, which is working to reduce deaths of African American children by 10% to 20% by 2020 in Sacramento County.
The Leadership Development for Racial Equity (LDRE) program works to build the capacity of youth-focused, community-based organizations throughout the state to advocate for policy and systems change to remove barriers and expand opportunities.
The program is managed through The Center and co-funded by Sierra Health Foundation and The California Endowment.
